@OneMondBand i think this was a french restaurant and mr bean knows only fish and chips, yorkshire puddings and steaks, too and his face is the most amazing part of this episode :)

Ughhh...can you imagine not knowing that Steak Tartare was raw, and then seeing it in front of you? I once took my DW to a fancy restaurant and I ordered Beef Carpaccio as an appetizer. When it came, I thought the slices of beef were tomato slices, and I wondered out loud where the beef was, until my wife figured out that it was raw. I returned the dish with no problems, but here's where I can sympathize with Bean.

Yes, I also felt the same way that Mr. Bean is celebrating his birthday by himself. I thought if anyone was going to treat him out to his birthday it would be Irma or Rubert and Hubert. I guess Mr. Bean never usually feels lonely as long as he has his teddy bear with him (even though he didn't bring his teddy bear to the restaurant) which is what he loves more than anything else in the world. The other thing he loves more than anything else in the world is the lock on his car.

it made me feel so bad for mr bean since he was so lonely he sent himself a card, but made me feel better again that this is only acting :)
