he's totally mimicking the voices of the construction workers too, thats phenomenal. and i also noticed how he can do two sounds at once. like when he mimicks the kookaburras, hehe. he seems to like those

We have just been camping in Barrington Tops. There were lyrebirds everywhere. They had a very wide range of sounds, mostly other birds as it's a wilderness area. One morning at about 5:30 I heard one go through his entire repertoire and their vocal skills are astounding. I also heard one doing a car alarm and lots of kookaburra.

FUNNY... I wonder how many of you believe this as being real...
