I have watched that competition in full and Domonique should have won. His dunks that day were better.

On top of that I am not able to understand this but I took the first step to dunking three weeks ago! I simply just made use of the method that is over at 50-inch-vertical[dot]com and around pretty much 2 weeks, I hop 14 inches more! Dunking is indeed , fun! @AdreasTheGreat Um did you even read what I said? I was saying that today's dunks are NOT as good, b/c the players are bigger and there is less space between them and the rim.  Therefore I think you and I agree. Before MJ's first retirement, he was 198lbs according to countless basketball cards. He muscled up when he returned. You're probably reading a website that has their final weight listed, right before they retired. MJ in 1988 was not 218lbs, sorry buddy. Thanks.

Mj and Nique are 6'6'' and 6'7'', I think, respectively, and barely 200lbs - small by today's standards. Being smaller makes dunks more aesthetically appealing - more space is like more palette for your art. NBA has opted for bigger = better, and thus the dunks look cartoonish, not dramatic. Hard to look like you're flying when you dont hardly have to jump to touch the rim.

@redhibernation Meh. Nique was a hero too. Before his injury, his fan base was just as big as MJ. I was on that fan list during those years. AND his scoring rivaled MJ. He sucked at defense though. Indeed an Epic dunk. Nique was a power slamming scoring machine.

samboykid9, This is why I play basketball, along with all the fancy dunks. If you can't dunk yet, you have to start practicing. I definitely advise you to try the one I'm using - 50 inch vertical (dot) com - I m 5 7 and I can dunk!
