@kieth64 I lost my partner of 14 years to cancer, six years ago this Febuary 14th, He was my soulmate so I know that pain, I'm happy that you have your son to see you through this. it's an excruciating pain that can't be soothed. I think of him everyday and dream of him often and each time I wake up expecting to feel his warmth in bed with me.

I miss when country artists made songs like this. I don't listen to country anymore, because it's just a bunch of lame party songs. At least pop songs have interesting beats. :/ I miss songs like this, "Whisky Lullaby," "Concrete Angel," and all those kinds of songs.

@maineman89 so sad. :( I am also in the process of losing a child, but I never met her yet... it is not the same, I know... but I know some of the pain you know. losing someone is never easy. Too many loved ones 'left so fast'. My mom died when I was 4. I was young... but I will never get over this. and now, my mom is holding my baby girl. Our babies time on earth was served. whatever their mission in life was, is finished. They don't have to suffer the burden of life. They're in heaven now.

wow. this song always gets me.... i think anyone who has lost someone close to them can relate to this song. lots of love lost and gone forever.

My daughter died at birth several years ago. They say time heals but it doesnt ...not really... you just learn to put it in a small box down deep in your soul so you can cope with the day to day life. There isnt a day that goes by that i dont think how different my life would have been had she lived and how much i miss her and everything she could have been. There hasn't been another child and i don't believe there will be but even if i do have a child they could never replace Realynne

This song helped me to cope with one of the grieving steps for my daughter, who died 8 years ago on Halloween. She was only 4 months old. I still grieve, but this song helps. Thanks leroyal67

This song is my comfort, because i lost my boyfriend of 3 years 7 months ago, and he really did leave to fast, i go to his cross alot and i know when people drive by the think i'm crazy, it;s the only way to feel like you still have them though, R.I.P. MY LOVE 04.11.11
