I just really cannot fathom how me thinking there is no wrong in filming a being, whether it be animal or human, while it is under sedation, makes me an irrational, ignorant sociopath? It doesn't make me happy to see animals hurt or distressed. When a baby cries, we think "Aww, poor baby he's so cute" and comfort him. The same is what I think of the cat. Think about it, you come here watching a video that some idiot film after his cat had surgery, and in a nut shell this guy emailed me and basically told me the cat doesn't care because it has no feelings enough to care. mskiwii firstly, I don't ask everyone, so get off your attempt to rally people together. Secondly filming any living creature in their time of struggle as they are under the influence of being medicated is a morality issue. Either you have it in you to know right from wrong or you don't. People on You Tube get their kicks by watching others receive some sort of humiliation or pain. Either you know it's wrong, or you don't. You just really need a reality check and get off your high horse. My brother was sedated for a dentist surgery and when he got off it, he was just like the little cat, whoozy. Sure, we giggled some but we sympathized. Had we filmed him? So? What's wrong with showing how cute he acts and looks when he is coming off the sedation? And then people feel bad for him and say aww, how cute. I hope you feel better! If you have a problem with this, you're the one with the ethics problem.

You keep asking everyone if we think it'd be okay to film a human being, but I'd like you to answer me--What exactly is WRONG with filming someone just after surgery? If anything, it allows us to give sympathy and reinforcing feelings and/or comments to the little cat (or HUMAN BEING if you'd like to go there). There is no harm or negativity what-so-ever about filming someone after they have been in surgery. Unless, like I mentioned before, they were being hurt and the person continued to film
